We heard you! Circle now supports Single Sign-On with Bubble, the powerful no-code platform.

To set it up, please check out this tutorial.

Note: like our integrations with WordPress and Memberful, this integration is available on our Professional and Enterprise plans only.

Thanks to Circle user Joe Brown from Smaal for his help with the integration, and for writing our tutorial for us! โคย
Thanks for building this integration y'all!!!! ๐Ÿ™‡โ€โ™‚๏ธ Christmas came early this year
How does SSO work? Would it mean that someone signed into a Bubble based app could be using the new embedded Circle community without ever seeing itโ€™s not part of that app?ir an all in one seamless experience? Any examples available?ย
Melanie Gillespie SSO works on the authentication layer โ€” once you setup SSO with a service like Bubble, your members log into your community via their Bubble account vs their Circle account. An example you could check out is Makerpad, which uses Memberstack + Circle: http://community.makerpad.co
Sid Yadav - I have a bit of a conundrum and wondered if you could advise.

I've integrated SSO between Bubble and Circle, and it works great.

However, it means when someone signs up through my Bubble site, they immediately have access to the community, even before they've paid.

The only way I can think of to prevent people from circumventing the payment (2 people have already managed it) is to make every space private and then use Zaps to add members once they've paid.

Is there another better way to do this I wonder?
Hm, thatโ€™s the only workaround I can think of on Circleโ€™s end.

Iโ€™m not sure if thereโ€™s a way to do this in Bubble, but there are some membership CRMs like MemberSpace which let you control SSO access for individual pricing tiers on their ends.ย
Sid Yadav yeah you'd have to custom build that into your app unfortunately!ย

The good and bad of it being a full custom app builder ๐Ÿ˜…

But, you could call the Circle API directly with the Bubble API Connector instead of using zapier even. To make things easier.
Joe Brownย Calling APIs directly is some kind of Hogwarts-level wizardry... I'm not sure I have the skills!
๏ปฟJoe Brown๏ปฟย Hi there ๐Ÿ‘‹ย  Recognize you from the Bubble forum. Nice to see you here. I'm curious if you could point me to the Circle API doc's? Haven't been able to locate.
Excited to use this integration! Anyone know for sure if the Circle onboarding options (email, pop up) are still triggered when a new Bubble account w SSO is created?
