Circle can be embedded on your website in a bunch of ways:

Option 1: Community Widget

The Circle widget lives in the bottom left corner of your website, and when clicked, loads up your community in an iFrame on your site. When the widget is clocked, you have the option of specify which page gets loaded in the iFrame — the default space, a specific space, or a specific topic.

Navigate to Settings → Embed to locate your community widget.

You can optionally specify a default space or topic slug, otherwise, your community will land on the default space selected under Settings → General.
  • To find your space slug, navigate to Space → Edit Space
  • To find your topic slug, navigate to Space → Topic → Edit Topic
You will want to make sure you:
  • Insert the slug between the ' ' characters
  • Remove the // characters before each line

💡 Pro Tip: If you would like to dynamically load the widget for specific pages only, paste the code provided below between the head tags of your site. By specifying the topic slug, the widget will only appear when someone lands on that page. Defining the space slug isn't necessary, as we will automatically look up any topics that contain your topic slug.
<script>
    mw('setDefaults', {
       space_slug: '',
       topic_slug: 'THE-BLOG-POST-SLUG-GOES-HERE'
    });
</script>

Option 2: Embed a Space on a Page

If you would like to embed a specific space, use the Space widget. You will simply insert the space slug for your Circle and remove the brackets.
  • To find your space slug, navigate to Space → Edit Space

Check out an example of this in action on Makerpad.

Option 3: Embed Topic Comments on a Page

To embed a specific you can use this code. Simply insert your space slug, the topic slug, and remove the brackets.
  • To find your space slug, navigate to Space → Edit Space
  • To find your topic slug, navigate to Space → Topic → Edit Topic

Option 4: Embed Community on a Page

You can modify your Space Widget if you'd like to embed your entire community (including the header and sidebar) on a page.

Navigate to Settings -> Embed -> Space Widget. Replace the URL with your community URL, and adjust the width and height values as needed.

If you'd like your widget to fit any browser window, use the modified code below:

<center><iframe style="border: 0; box-shadow: none; width: 100%; height: 150vh;" src="[INSERT COMMUNITY URL]"></iframe></center>
